Our Center

JPH Center at Ferry Hill is a very special place where a community of families, individuals, local businesses and supporters have contributed for over a hundred years. Located on the pristine river bank of the South River, our nine acres of trails and grounds include a historic barn, cottage and community center. This property steeped in history, with a legacy to leave, was originally a farm that has been saved from development twice in its history. The property is in need of many renovations, repairs and upgrades. The work today for Ferry Hill includes paying down the property debt and making the necessary repairs and upgrades needed to produce year-round community programs. The property is ideal for community projects and the need to improve it serves as a common goal for the JPH  community. There are gardens to be created and planted, walls to be painted, fences to be fixed and trails to be maintained. The work to be done gives us purpose and an opportunity to give back to our community by leaving a place better than when we found it.
