The Saltwater Soul Sauna is a beautiful, authentic mobile woodfired sauna. The Nordic Cycle or the "Viking bath" is a hot and cold therapy ritual that has been around for centuries. The transition from one extreme temperature to another is a restorative tool for the mind and body, and is supported by many health benefits. The cycle is defined by four steps, hot, cold, rest, repeat. The cycle will be repeated three times. While you enjoy this experience you will take in views of the South River and rest outside by the fire pit (weather permitting) or in the barn as you listen to soothing music from the sound system. Hot tea, infused water and light snacks will be provided.

In this special Open Studio, we will take a closer look at the art and lives of Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe, Vincent Van-Gogh and Ansel Adams. Come join us as we explore large format art books, artist diaries and letters, and have meaningful conversations about beauty, and the intersection of art and illness.
So many famous artists whose work we so admire, suffered from depression, anxiety, mania, trauma, and other forms of mental illness. These artists used creativity as an outward expression of their internal experiences. Their art lives on as a way for us to learn that beauty can illustrate suffering, and that images can connect us deeply, in what it means to be human.

The JPH community plans with a purpose be it a wellness event, a music event, community dinner, fundraiser, or volunteer weekend.
Events at JPH bring community to come together to celebrate, spend time together to socialize, work on their healing or to just be in a peaceful and natural setting.
When our event planning team creates a new event the first question, they ask themselves is, does this encourage our community to connect? From there we work with our volunteers to create events that connect, inspire, and elevate our community. Sign up to volunteer.
Breaking bread together is a deep-rooted tradition in most cultures. Our food is prepared, served, and eaten by our community. The sharing of community meals is embedded in the JPH culture. We bond, laugh, and share through this family style activity.
Collective creativity is the core of our community events. We infuse music, nature, and art into all we do. Community members form teams to create event designs and themes, develop the concepts for entertainment and we all work together to bring to life inspiring experiences for all to enjoy.
The experiences we create and share together as a community give us opportunities to gather, commune and celebrate our collective efforts and our beautiful community. These gatherings bring people together from all walks of our center and give members an opportunity to blend together.
